ALT3RD PLAYLISTS: THE ANALOG VAULT SELECTORS
Analog Vault, one of our favourite curators of discerning vinyl in Singapore is also the second home of Nick Bong & Leon Wan. Besides being friendly faces behind the counter there, they are also accomplished DJs and producers.

Meitei – Couchin
I had a moment with this one recently and chose it for a mix I recorded in early April this year. The swirly sound design is calming and beautiful, and the rhythm is hypnotic – perfect for reflection.

Priscilla Ermel – Martim Pescador
Carrying on the reflective vibe here, the instruments are so well recorded and the arrangement is hypnotic and mesmerizing with the strings and percussions going on.

.gif – INDULGENT INTERLUDE
From our newest offering on TAV records – entire record is quite befitting of our times right now. Feeling this one because of the message and the harmonies.

Gaussian Curve – Dancing Rain
We restocked this recently and it’s been raining a lot!

Dominic J Marshall – Hypernormalized
From local label Darker Than Wax reaching out worldwide, this is the closing track from UK based Dominic J Marshall’s album. It’s a mood.

Ramp - Come Into Knowledge
Restocked recently and always such a good tune to put on!

Matthew Larkin Cassell - In My Life
Funky tune by Matt The Cat aka Matthew Larkin Cassell. Sounds like a musical play whenever he sings but paired with an extremely tight rhythm section. Good message too!

John Coltrane - Love Supreme
Classic choice here but thanks to one particular customer who always emphasizes about the importance of this album. At one point I would play this alot and just imagine! Once heard, you can't unhear!

Hiroshi Yoshimura - Music For Nine Postcards
Recently restocked as well! So minimal that it could be kinda eerie. Good for relaxing or it could be the other way around too! Check it out and see which of the above.

Mbongwana Star - From Kinshasa
Just a really interesting LP to listen from start to end. Loads of energy and interesting rhythmic patterns / textures. Highlight track would be Malukayi, heard it with a friend recently and we nodded heads!
